Original research on

Compassionate Leadership
in The Workplace

The TramutoPorter Foundation set out to help close the gap between acceptance of the notion of compassionate leadership and its actual implementation. The Foundation commissioned workplace research that included surveys and interviews as part of the development of a broader compassion initiative and to inform the development of its book, The Double Bottom Line: How Compassionate Leaders Captivate Hearts and Deliver Results that provides a compassionate leadership roadmap for current leaders and those just starting out on their leadership journey.

Compassionate Leadership
in The Workplace

Research Summary | NOVEMBER 2021

The TramutoPorter Foundation conducted original research to better understand the role of compassionate leadership in the workplace; to better understand the practical dimensions of compassion; and to identify actionable insights to help develop a roadmap for organizations working to successfully deliver on a ‘double bottom line’ — bettering conditions for people while driving stronger results.

Every day,
we can all
take small steps towards leading with compassion.

Throughout the course of my life, it has never been about doing something great; rather, it has been about doing little things that have the capacity to drive great change. It has been about serving as the conduit to bring people together from all walks of life, working collaboratively with the notion that it makes no difference how much you give. What makes the difference is that you gave. It makes no difference how much you do. What makes the difference is you did something.
